The history of the Sarlas brand starts all the way back in 1977 when Sotirios Sarlas started
trading from a small shop on Ermou Street, Athens. Thanks to his business acumen,
instinct for the market and honest, personable service, business soon soared. More than
forty years later, Sarlas remains a family company, with Vanda Sarla, daughter of Sotirios,
at the helm as Chairman.
Our activities have expanded via wholesaling, our fabrics are exported to 70 countries
around the world. It’s been four decades of memories filled with colours, patterns, and
textures. Extraordinary fabrics have breathed new life to residential and professional
spaces, going beyond customers’ needs and expectations.
Our specialized confection department has completed numerous projects for prominent
clients, who were left with the best impressions, while one of our recent landmarks, was
the launch of Sarlas Italia S.A, which already boasts a developed network throughout Italy.
Persistent investment in innovation, infrastructure and human resources guarantees that
we can continue to lead the way in the textile market.
Nowadays Sarlas family remains the heart of the company, but our staff is also a major
component of our success, aligning with our family values of innovation, quality, hard
work and safety. Our standards and values leave no doubt; The next chapter in the Sarlas
